Pumpkins

The pumpkin is the king of the autumn vegetable patch: its hefty fruit keeps well into winter. Fruits may be giant or small, smooth or ribbed, orange, green or grey. The flesh suits soups, roasts, baking and preserves.

In Estonia, raise pumpkins indoors and plant out after the last frosts. They need warmth, sun and very rich soil – beside the compost heap is ideal. Order pumpkin seeds from ALLIKASILM with delivery across Estonia and the EU.
