Lythrum

Lythrum, or purple loosestrife, is a hardy perennial with long magenta-pink flower spikes from midsummer to late summer. Its upright clumps add height and colour to a border, and the flowers attract bees and butterflies.

Lythrum loves sun and moist soil, so it is ideal beside a pond or stream and in rain gardens, though it also grows in ordinary garden soil if watered. Order lythrum from ALLIKASILM with delivery across Estonia and the EU.
