Budlėjos

Buddleja, the butterfly bush, flowers in late summer with long fragrant spikes in purple, pink or white. The nectar-rich blooms attract butterflies in large numbers. In the Estonian climate it often dies back to the ground in winter, but regrows from the roots in spring and flowers the same summer.

Plant it in a sunny, sheltered spot in free-draining soil and mulch the roots for winter. Cut the stems back hard in spring to encourage generous flowering. Order buddleja from ALLIKASILM with delivery across Estonia and the EU.
