Edible honeysuckle (Lonicera caerulea), also sold as honeyberry, is one of the hardiest berry bushes, shrugging off Estonian frosts and flowering early. Its elongated dark blue berries ripen as early as June, ahead of strawberries, and are good fresh, juiced or made into jam.

Plant at least two different varieties side by side, as it needs cross-pollination to crop. It likes a sunny spot and moisture-retentive soil. Order from ALLIKASILM with delivery across Estonia and the EU.
