Calcium nitrate, 4 kg, Baltic Agro
Seller: ALLIKASILM
About this product
Calcium nitrate (nitrate of lime) is a concentrated, pure nitrogen fertiliser with calcium. It dissolves readily, so results come quickly: when a plant is short of nitrogen, growth slows and the leaves turn yellow, and calcium nitrate is the most direct remedy for exactly that.
Particularly sensitive to nitrogen deficiency are cabbage, apple and plum trees, blackcurrant and lawns. Unlike many nitrogen fertilisers, calcium nitrate does not acidify the soil — on the contrary, the lime it contains reduces soil acidity and improves the physical properties of the soil. Calcium also helps against blossom end rot in tomatoes.
The pack contains 4 kg. Made by Baltic Agro.

Advice from our agronomist
Less for sensitive crops. Spread on the surface at 30 g/m² for lettuce, radish and flowers, 40 g/m² for cucumber and tomato.
Tomato and cucumber as a solution. Feed every 4-10 days with 3-6 litres of solution per square metre — the calcium then reaches the fruit evenly.
Stop by midsummer. Nitrogen drives growth: do not give it to fruit trees and shrubs after July, or shoots will not ripen for winter.
