About this product
Seed discs “Anise, summer savory, catmint” is a set of three discs, each 8 cm across and holding the seeds of one culinary or medicinal herb: anise (Pimpinella anisum), summer savory (Satureja hortensis) and catmint (Nepeta).
Simply lay a disc on the soil in a pot or bed, cover it thinly and keep it moist; sowing is effortless and the seeds are spread evenly. Anise is an annual whose young leaves go into salads and soups, while the seeds are used as a spice.
The pack contains 3 seed discs, made by Baltic Agro.

Advice from our agronomist
Moisten the soil first. Fill a pot with light compost, water it through and lay the disc on the surface. Cover with about half a centimetre of soil and firm gently.
Keep moist until germination. The disc must never dry out, so mist the surface or cover the pot with clear film until seedlings appear. Sow indoors in spring or straight into a bed in May, once the soil has warmed.
Give light and space. All three herbs love sun. If the seedlings come up thickly, thin them or move some to another pot so that the plants grow strong.
