Advice from our agronomist
When to sow Sow the seeds for seedlings in March–April 0.5–1 cm deep and keep at 20–25 °C. Seeds germinate in 1–2 weeks.
Planting out Plant the seedlings out in early June, once the night frosts are over, 30–40 cm apart. Choose a sunny spot.
Care Water moderately, more in dry spells, and keep the bed weed-free. Plant out only after the night frosts are over; the plant loves warmth.
Feeding and flowering Feed 1–2 times with a flowering-plant fertiliser and remove faded flowers – this prolongs flowering. Flowers in July–September; height 90 cm.
