Advice from our agronomist
When to sow Sow the seeds for seedlings from late March to April on the soil surface, covered with a very thin layer of soil, at 20–25 °C. Seeds germinate in 1–2 weeks.
Planting out Plant the seedlings out in early June, after the frosts, 25–30 cm apart. Choose a sunny, sheltered spot; it also suits pots.
Care Water with warm water and pinch out the growing tips so the plant bushes out. It does not tolerate cold.
Feeding and harvest Feed 1–2 times during the season. Pick the leaves and flower spikes from July to September and dry them for tea.
