Advice from our agronomist
When to sow Sow the seeds for seedlings from late March to April, 0.5 cm deep, and keep at 20–25 °C. Seeds germinate in 1–2 weeks.
Planting out Plant the seedlings out in early June, after the frosts, 25 cm apart. Choose a sunny, sheltered spot; it also suits pots.
Care Water with warm water and pinch out the growing tips so the plant bushes out. A heat-loving plant – grow it in a greenhouse, on a windowsill, on a balcony or in a warm spot in the bed.
