Wax begonia "Super Olympia" F1 20 seeds

About this product
Wax begonia “Super Olympia” F1 (Begonia semperflorens) is a low, compact hybrid grown as an annual. Glossy, fleshy leaves and a profusion of small flowers make it a superb edging plant that stays attractive all summer until the frosts.
Use it for edging beds, in balcony boxes, pots and on graves. It grows well in sun or partial shade and likes humus-rich, evenly moist soil. The seed is as fine as dust, so growing starts in late winter.
The pack contains 20 seeds.

Advice from our agronomist
Do not cover the seed. Sow in January or February onto moist, fine seed compost and press the seed lightly onto the surface: begonias need light to germinate. Cover with glass or film and keep at +22-24 °C.
Water from below. The tiny seedlings are delicate, so moisten the compost from a tray or with a mister. Prick out at the 2-3 leaf stage.
Plant out in early June. Harden off and move outside only after the last frosts, spacing plants about 15-20 cm apart.
