About this product
Wax begonia “Feja” (Begonia semperflorens) is a low plant reaching up to 20 cm in flower; it is a perennial by nature but in our climate is grown as an annual. True to its name, the everblooming begonia flowers long and without a break above glossy, fleshy leaves.
Flowering lasts from early summer until the autumn frosts. The compact plants suit edging, balcony boxes, pots and cemetery plantings. Begonia grows well in sun as well as in partial shade; in autumn it can be brought indoors onto a windowsill.
The pack contains 15 seeds, made by KURZEMES SĒKLAS.

Advice from our agronomist
Sow early and on the surface. Begonias develop slowly, so sow in January or February. Place the dust-fine seed on moist compost without covering it with soil, cover with film and keep in a bright spot at +22-24 °C.
Water from below. Mist the sowing or water via the tray so the seed is not washed away. Prick out sturdy seedlings into individual pots.
Plant out in early June. Move plants outdoors after the last frosts, spacing them 15-20 cm apart. Water moderately, as excess moisture harms the roots.
