Type: water-soluble complete fertiliser with trace elements
Use: strawberry, raspberry, currant, sea buckthorn, chokeberry, gooseberry and other berries

Application: dissolve in water, water at the root
Timing: from flowering to the end of picking, every one to two weeks
Rate: as stated on the pack

Start feeding just before flowering — that is when the size of the crop is decided.
Water with plain water first; shallow strawberry roots are sensitive to fertiliser in dry soil.
Pour the solution at the root, not over leaves and fruit.
Give one more feed after picking: that is when strawberries set the flower buds for next year.
A straw or fabric mulch keeps moisture even and the fruit clean — without it no fertiliser will save the crop.
