Tomato feeding fertilizer Baltic Agro 300 g

Type: water-soluble tomato feed
Use: tomatoes under glass and outdoors
Pack: 300 g
Producer: Baltic Agro
Application: dissolve in water, water at the root
Timing: from the first flower truss, every one to two weeks
Rate: as stated on the pack

Start feeding only once the first truss has set: food given earlier just drives leaf growth.
Water evenly. Uneven watering is the main cause of blossom end rot — not a shortage of calcium in the soil, but a dry plant unable to take it up.
Water at the root, not over the leaves: wet leaves in a greenhouse are where blight starts.
Do not use a nitrogen-rich feed in August — fruit will not ripen if the plant is making new shoots.
Remove the lower leaves under a cropping truss: air moves better and there is less disease.
