Pea "Aamisepp", 25 g, Baltic Agro
Seller: ALLIKASILM
About this product
Pea “Aamisepp” (Pisum sativum) is a very tasty mid-early variety bred in Estonia, growing tall at 100–140 cm. The large pods have blunt tips and hold up to 8 big peas each. The variety shows relatively good resistance to leaf spot.
“Aamisepp” crops over a long period, so fresh peas keep coming for several weeks. Being tall, the plants definitely need support: netting, twiggy sticks or strings. Enjoy the peas straight from the row or in the kitchen.
The pack contains 25 g of seed, made by Baltic Agro, country of origin Estonia.

Advice from our agronomist
Wait for warm soil. Sow once the ground has reached at least +10 °C, usually from late April to June. Set the seed 3 cm deep, 6 cm apart in the row, with 40–50 cm between rows.
Put supports in at once. Erect netting or pea sticks at sowing time: the tendrils will find them unaided and the roots are not disturbed later.
Pick often. Gather pods every couple of days, once the peas have filled out but are still sweet. Regular picking keeps the plants cropping for longer.
