Advice from our agronomist
Sowing Sow from April to May or August to September; loosen and level the soil first. Sowing rate for a new lawn is about 30 g/m², for repair 15–20 g/m². Rake the seed in lightly and roll.
Care Keep the surface constantly moist until emergence (1–3 weeks); start mowing at 6–8 cm and never cut below 4–5 cm. Avoid foot traffic for the first 6–8 weeks.
Mowing Mow every 7–10 days; feed in spring and midsummer with lawn fertiliser, and in dry spells water less often but thoroughly.
