Advice from our agronomist
Sowing Sow the seeds from March to April in trays or in a greenhouse lightly covered with soil (0.5 cm). Keep the temperature at 18–20 °C; seedlings emerge in 7–14 days. Prick out at 2–3 true leaves and plant out in May–June, 25–30 cm apart.
Care Keep the soil lightly moist and avoid waterlogging. Tolerates drought and limy soil; dislikes standing water.
Use Suits rock gardens, wall tops and ground cover. Usually flowers in the second year.
