Citrus soil GREENWORLD 5 l

About this product
Citrus compost is a slightly acidic, free-draining substrate for lemon, orange, mandarin, lime and other citrus. As a houseplant, citrus is fussy for one reason in particular: it cannot stand waterlogging, yet it cannot stand drying out either.
The job of this substrate is to strike that balance — it holds moisture, but excess water drains away rather than sitting around the roots. The slightly acidic reaction keeps iron and magnesium available: a shortage of exactly these turns citrus leaves yellow while the veins stay green.
The pack contains 5 l.

Advice from our agronomist
Do not use an oversized pot. Citrus wants its roots to fill the pot: in a large one the unused compost stays wet and sours.
Keep it cool in winter. +10-15 °C and good light suit the rest period. In a warm room the plant keeps growing but the light is short — and the leaves drop.
Water with lukewarm water. Cold water stops uptake, and the plant goes thirsty even though the soil is moist.
