Advice from our agronomist
Give each seed its own spot. With only a few seeds, sow them singly on the surface of small pots in March or April and cover with film. They need light and about +20-22 °C to germinate.
Wait for warm weather. Coleus is very frost-tender, so move plants outdoors only in early June, when nights are warm too.
Keep it bushy. Pinch out the tips and remove flower spikes as soon as they appear. In autumn bring the plant indoors or take cuttings, which root easily in water.
