Coleus "Rainbow Mixture", 0.2 g, Toraf

About this product
Coleus “Rainbow Mixture” (Coleus blumei) is a colour mix producing plants with leaves in a range of colours and patterns. Coleus is a perennial, but here it is grown as an annual ornamental and a houseplant; its main attraction is the decorative foliage rather than the flowers.
In summer the variegated plants brighten beds, patio pots and balcony boxes from June to September. Before the autumn frosts the best plants can be brought in to a bright windowsill. Leaf colours are strongest in good light, in fertile, evenly moist soil.
The pack contains 0.2 g of seed, made by Toraf.

Advice from our agronomist
Sow in the light. In March or April scatter the fine seed over moist compost, press lightly and cover with film. Keep at +20-22 °C in a bright place; seedlings usually appear within two weeks.
Pick the best. Once leaf colours start to show, pot on the plants with the patterns you like most. Move them outdoors only in June, after the night frosts.
Pinch the tips. When plants are 10-15 cm tall, pinch out the tips and snap off flower spikes for a bushy plant. Water regularly and feed every two weeks.
