Sowing Sow in late April to early May 1–2 cm deep in individual pots and keep at 25–28 °C; seedlings emerge in 4–7 days.
Planting out Plant 4-week-old seedlings in a greenhouse or on a warm, sheltered bed in early June, 50–70 cm apart. Cover the plants with fleece in cold weather.
Care Water moderately with warm water, keeping the fruits dry. Pinch the main shoot after 5–6 leaves and leave 2–4 fruits per plant; put a board or straw under the fruits.
Harvest Harvest fully ripe fruits when the stalk separates easily and the fruit smells sweet.
