Advice from our agronomist
Sowing Sow in late April to May directly in the bed 1 cm deep, rows 25–30 cm apart, and thin to 10 cm. It needs warmth and a long season (3–4 months).
Care A sunny, warm, sheltered spot and light, well-drained soil. Water moderately; it dislikes wet ground.
Harvest Cut the seed stems in August–September once they turn brown; dry and thresh out the seeds.
