Advice from our agronomist
Planting Plant in spring in a sunny spot in well-drained, rather dry to moderately moist soil; heavy, wet soil is unsuitable. Space plants 30–40 cm apart.
Watering Water in the first year; later the plant is drought tolerant.
Pruning Cut dry stems back in spring; after the first flush shorten shoots so flowering continues.
Feeding and winter care No feeding is needed; a spring layer of compost is enough. Hardy; no cover is needed.
