Advice from our agronomist
Sowing Sow in April in pots and plant out in late May to early June, 60 cm apart.
Care Water evenly, earth up and stake the tall stem. Protect from caterpillars with fleece; in late August you can pinch out the growing tip so the sprouts swell evenly.
Harvest Pick the sprouts from the bottom up when they are 2–3 cm across; frost makes them sweeter.
