Annual gypsophila "Covent Garden Market", 0.5 g, AGRONOM
Seller: ALLIKASILM
About this product
Annual gypsophila “Covent Garden Market” (Gypsophila elegans) is an annual about 50 cm tall. It flowers very profusely: masses of tiny blooms create an airy effect, like a white cloud.
The flowering stems are superb in bouquets, where they complement larger flowers and add lightness. In the garden, gypsophila makes a fine backdrop for brightly coloured plants. It grows best in full sun in light, dry soil and dislikes excess moisture. In Estonia it is grown as an annual.
The pack contains 0.5 g of seed, made by AGRONOM.

Advice from our agronomist
Sow direct. Gypsophila dislikes transplanting: in early May sow into loose soil about 0.5 cm deep and thin seedlings to 15-20 cm apart.
Sow in succession. Annual gypsophila has a fairly short flowering period, so sow a new row every 3-4 weeks to have stems for bouquets all summer.
Do not overwater. Water only in drought. Liming acid soil is beneficial. Cut stems for arrangements when about half the flowers are open.
