Advice from our agronomist
When to sow Sow directly in the bed from April to July, 1–1.5 cm deep. Sowing rate: about 1 kg per 1000 m² (5 kg covers 5000 m²).
Sowing Scatter the seed evenly, rake it in lightly and roll. Prefers sun and well-drained, moderately moist soil.
Care Water during germination; later the annual clover is undemanding. The plant grows 40–100 cm tall.
Use As a green manure, mow or dig the plants in at the start of flowering – the soil is enriched with nitrogen. As a honey plant, leave it to bloom. No feeding is needed.
