Advice from our agronomist
Sowing Sow the seeds from March to April in trays or in a greenhouse on the soil surface, uncovered, as the seeds germinate in light. Keep the temperature at 15–20 °C; seedlings emerge in 10–21 days. Prick out at 2–3 true leaves and plant out in May–June, 20–30 cm apart.
Care Keep the soil lightly moist and avoid waterlogging. Tolerates drought, dislikes excess moisture, especially in winter.
Use Suits rock gardens, edging and dry borders; a blue-grey grass.
