Sowing Sow the seeds from March to April in trays or in a greenhouse on the soil surface, uncovered, as the seeds germinate in light. Keep the temperature at 18–22 °C; seedlings emerge in 10–20 days. Prick out at 2–3 true leaves and plant out in May–June, 25–30 cm apart.
Care Keep the soil lightly moist and avoid waterlogging. Does not tolerate excess moisture, especially in winter; remove spent flowers to prolong blooming.
