Advice from our agronomist
Sowing Sow in April to July directly in the bed 1–2 cm deep and thin to 15–20 cm; for an early crop raise seedlings in pots in April.
Care Water evenly so the swollen stem does not turn woody or split. Protect from flea beetles with fleece.
Harvest Harvest when the bulbs are about 6–8 cm across, while they are tender and juicy.
