Advice from our agronomist
Sowing Sow the seeds in April–May directly in the bed onto the surface, uncovered. Keep the temperature at 15–20 °C; seedlings emerge in 7–14 days. Prick out at 2–3 true leaves and plant out in May–June, 20–25 cm apart.
Care Keep the soil lightly moist and avoid waterlogging. Grows even in poor soil; remove faded flowers.
Use Mixed borders, meadow plantings and cutting; self-seeds freely.
