Advice from our agronomist
Sowing Sow in late April to early May 1–2 cm deep in rows 30 cm apart; seedlings emerge in 14–28 days, so keep the soil moist throughout. Thin to 5–8 cm.
Care Water regularly and keep the bed weed-free; avoid fresh manure. Prefers a sunny spot and loose soil.
Harvest Lift the roots in autumn before frost and store them in sand in a cool, damp place. The leaves can be cut all summer.
