Cosmos "Sensation White", 1 g, Žalia stotelė

About this product
Cosmos “Sensation White” (Cosmos bipinnatus) is an annual 40-50 cm tall with white flowers. These easy-going plants bloom abundantly over a long season and are excellent for cutting.
Cosmos is grown in flower beds and pots. Interestingly, the poorer the soil, the more generous the flowering. Plants can even be moved while in bloom, provided they are kept well watered. Cosmos self-sows, so new seedlings may appear the following year.
The pack contains 1 g of seed, made by Žalia stotelė.

Advice from our agronomist
Sow in April or late May. For transplants, sow into pots in April about 1 cm deep; sow directly outdoors once the frosts are over. The seed germinates quickly in warmth.
Do not overfeed. Plant in a sunny spot 30-40 cm apart. In nitrogen-rich soil cosmos grows lush but flowers less, so feeding is usually unnecessary.
Cut often. The more flowers you pick or deadhead, the longer new buds keep coming. If you want self-sown seedlings, leave a few flower heads to set seed in autumn.
