Advice from our agronomist
When to sow. Sow in April as soon as the soil thaws, or in late autumn for an early spring crop; depth 1–2 cm, row spacing 20 cm.
Sowing. Sow again every 2–3 weeks until July for a continuous supply of fresh greens.
Care. Thin seedlings to 5–10 cm. Water regularly to keep the greens tender; do not use fresh manure. The variety flowers late, so the greens stay tender for longer.
Harvest. Cut greens before flowering, often; bush dill regrows after cutting. Dry in the shade or freeze; for umbels (for pickling), wait until they are green.
