Advice from our agronomist
When to sow Sow directly in the bed in April–May 0.5 cm deep, rows 20–25 cm apart. Seeds germinate in 1–2 weeks.
Sowing Thin the plants to 10–15 cm apart. Choose a sunny or semi-shaded spot.
Care Water moderately, more in dry spells, and keep the bed weed-free. Sow in several batches 2–3 weeks apart to prolong flowering.
Feeding and flowering Feed 1–2 times with a flowering-plant fertiliser and remove faded flowers – this prolongs flowering. Flowers in June–August; height 50 cm.
