Lobelia "Palace Blue", 50 seeds, Baltic Agro

About this product
Lobelia “Palace Blue” (Lobelia erinus) is a low, compact ornamental reaching up to 15 cm in flower. Here it is grown as an annual. The plant covers itself densely with small flowers, and the variety name points to their blue colour.
Lobelia flowers from early summer until the autumn frosts. Its low habit makes it ideal for edging, rock gardens, balcony boxes and pots, where it fills gaps between taller plants. Lobelia grows in sun or partial shade in moist, fertile soil.
The pack contains 50 seeds, made by Baltic Agro.

Advice from our agronomist
Sow on the surface. Lobelia seed is very fine and must not be buried: in February or March place it on moist compost, press lightly and cover with film. Keep in a bright spot at around +18-20 °C.
Prick out in clumps. The seedlings are tiny, so move them in small clusters rather than singly. Never let the compost dry out.
Plant out in early June. After the frosts set plants 10-15 cm apart. If flowering flags in midsummer, trim plants back lightly and water generously.
