Advice from our agronomist
Sowing For microgreens: soak the seeds for 4–6 hours, spread them on a moist substrate and keep in the dark for 2–3 days. As green manure: sow April–August at 3–4 g/m², 1–2 cm deep.
Care Keep microgreens at 18–22 °C with a moist substrate. As green manure lucerne is a drought-tolerant perennial whose deep roots loosen the soil.
Harvest Cut microgreens 6–10 days after sowing. Cut the green manure or dig it in before flowering; flowering lucerne is a bee favourite.
