About this product
Stock “Bush Exa” (Matthiola incana) is an easy-to-grow annual forming plants about 40 cm tall. The flowers are delightfully fragrant, and the mix includes pink, white, red and purple shades.
It blooms from June to August. Grow it in summer beds, window boxes and pots, where the scent can be enjoyed at close range, or cut it for summer bouquets. For early flowers, raise plants under cover first. It prefers fertile soil and needs watering during long dry spells.
The pack contains 0.4 g of seed (about 240 seeds), made by Žalia stotelė.

Advice from our agronomist
Raise seedlings first. Sow on the surface in late March or April and cover lightly with compost. After germination keep the seedlings cool and bright so they stay sturdy.
Plant out in late May. Stocks want a sunny spot and fertile soil; leave about 20 cm between plants. In containers use a rich potting compost.
Feed and water. Give a mineral fertiliser a couple of times during flowering and water through long dry spells. The blooms will then stay fragrant and plentiful all summer.
