Lawn seed mixture “Liliput” is a blend of fine-leaved grasses that grows slowly and forms a low, dense sward. In the Sėklos LT range it is the slowest-growing mixture and one of the most attractive.
It needs mowing roughly half as often as a standard lawn, saving both time and fuel. The mixture suits general-purpose, park and special-purpose lawns. The best times to sow are spring and August, when the soil is warm and moist.
The pack contains 1 kg of seed, made by Sėklos LT. A handy size for a smaller lawn or for overseeding an existing one.

Advice from our agronomist
August is the best time. In late summer the soil is warm and weeds are fewer, so fine grasses root well before winter. In spring, sow once the soil has dried and warmed.
Repair an old lawn. To thicken thin patches, rake out thatch and moss, scatter the seed evenly and top-dress with a thin layer of compost or sand. Keep it moist until germination.
Mow low, but not too short. Keep the grass at 3-4 cm and feed it with a lawn fertiliser in spring. In a dry summer water less often but deeply.
