Advice from our agronomist
Sowing Sow the seeds from March to April in trays or in a greenhouse lightly covered with soil (0.5 cm). Keep the temperature at 18–22 °C; seedlings emerge in 14–28 days. Cold stratification (2–4 weeks in the fridge) improves germination. Prick out at 2–3 true leaves and plant out in May–June, 50–60 cm apart.
Care Keep the soil lightly moist and avoid waterlogging. Tolerates drought; no feeding is needed.
Use Suits borders and dried bouquets and attracts bees. Flowers from July to August.
