About this product
Alpine forget-me-not “Blue Ball” (Myosotis alpestris) — a compact plant 10-20 cm tall with bright blue flowers. Botanically it is a perennial, but in gardens it is usually grown as a biennial. It flowers for a long time and very profusely.
Good for hanging baskets, pots, window boxes and waterside planting, as well as flowering meadows and lawns. It does best in moist, partly shaded places. Sow the seed in April-May or in October.
The pack contains 0.2 g of seed (about 2000 seeds per gram), made by AGRONOM.

Advice from our agronomist
Plan the flowering ahead. Plants sown in April-May build a strong rosette over the summer and flower the following spring. An October sowing comes up in spring as the soil warms.
Cover the seed thinly. Forget-me-nots germinate in darkness, so cover the seed with about 0.5 cm of soil and keep it moist. Thin or transplant the seedlings to 15-20 cm apart.
Do not let the soil dry out. It likes cool, moist conditions, so water in dry spells. After flowering it often self-seeds, and new plants appear in the bed the following year.
