Advice from our agronomist
Sowing Sow the seeds in March–April onto the surface, uncovered. Keep the temperature at 15–18 °C; seedlings emerge in 7–14 days. Prick out at 2–3 true leaves and plant out in May–June, 15–20 cm apart.
Care Keep the soil lightly moist and avoid waterlogging. Water regularly but not excessively; trim after the first flush to encourage a second.
Use Good for pots, balcony boxes and edging; prefers cooler weather.
