Advice from our agronomist
Sowing Sow in early to mid March 0.5–1 cm deep in light soil and keep at 25–28 °C; seedlings emerge in 7–14 days.
Planting out Prick out at the 2–3 true-leaf stage. Plant into a greenhouse in mid May or outdoors in early June after the last frosts, 40–50 cm apart.
Care Water with warm water, keep the soil evenly moist and feed every 2 weeks with a liquid fertiliser; support the plants if needed.
Harvest Pick the fruit regularly from late summer to autumn to keep the yield up.
