Radish De Dix-Huit Jours is a very early variety; the root is medium-sized, elongated and red with white, very juicy flesh and an attractive appearance; the first fresh vegetable of spring.
Crisp, juicy radish is good fresh in salads, on sandwiches and as a snack; it also suits growing microgreens.
Grow in a greenhouse or open ground. Pack contains 4 m seed tape, produced by Lucia ELITE.

Advice from our agronomist
When to sow. Sow from early April to September at two-week intervals, once the soil has warmed to at least 5 °C; in a greenhouse you can start earlier. Depth 1–2 cm, row spacing 10 cm.
Sowing. Lay the tape in a furrow 1–2 cm deep, cover with soil and water; no thinning needed.
Care. Water regularly and evenly – drought makes radishes bitter and hollow, and uneven moisture makes them crack. Cover with fleece against pests (flea beetles).
Harvest. Radishes mature in 25–30 days; pick them on time, as overgrown roots turn pithy. Feeding is usually unnecessary.
