Advice from our agronomist
Sowing The seeds germinate slowly and unevenly: sow in March on the surface with a thin cover of soil, keeping at 18–22 °C; seedlings emerge in 14–30 days. Plant in a pot or outdoors in early June.
Care Needs plenty of sun and well-drained soil; water moderately. Rosemary is not winter-hardy outdoors in our climate, so grow it in a pot and bring it to a cool, bright room for winter.
Harvest Cut young shoots through the season, but never more than a third of the plant at once.
