Advice from our agronomist
Raise transplants. Sow indoors in March-April and plant out at the end of May; direct sowing in May works too.
Sun and good drainage. Rue loves sun and free-draining soil; standing water is dangerous for it.
Clip in spring. Cut the plant back in spring — it stays compact and the foliage dense.
