Advice from our agronomist
When to sow Sow in spring once the soil has warmed up, or from late August to early September, 1 cm deep. Rate: 30–50 g/m². Seeds germinate quickly.
Sowing Level and rake the surface and remove weeds. Scatter the seed evenly, rake it in lightly and firm down. Choose a sunny spot – in shade the lawn thins out.
Care Water gently and regularly so the surface does not dry out. Mow for the first time when the grass is 8–10 cm tall, later at 4–6 cm.
Feeding and harvest Feed in spring and midsummer with a lawn fertiliser. The lawn tolerates trampling and varied weather; mow regularly to 4–6 cm.
