Advice from our agronomist
Sowing Sow the seeds in March–April onto the surface, uncovered. Keep the temperature at 18–22 °C; seedlings emerge in 10–20 days. The seeds are very fine and germinate in light; mist with water. Prick out at 2–3 true leaves and plant out in May–June, 40–50 cm apart.
Care Keep the soil lightly moist and avoid waterlogging. Water regularly and feed every 2–3 weeks; remove spent flower heads.
Use A tall background plant for mixed borders that scents the evening; good for cutting and large containers.
