About this product
Pansy “Laura” (Viola × wittrockiana) is a biennial that flowers when little else does: in early spring and late autumn. It is also known as garden pansy or Wittrock violet.
Plants sown in July start flowering as early as September and carry on until the frosts, then bloom a second time in spring. Grow it in pots, balcony boxes, on graves and for small posies. It prefers sun or partial shade and humus-rich, moist soil.
The pack contains 0.3 g of seed, made by Žalia stotelė.

Advice from our agronomist
Germinate in the dark. Sow in July, cover with a thin layer of compost and keep at about +16 °C in darkness: seedlings appear in 14-18 days. In summer heat keep the tray somewhere cool.
Plant out in August. Space plants 15-20 cm apart and water regularly so they root well before winter.
Deadhead often. This stops seed setting and prolongs flowering. A light cover of spruce branches helps plants through the winter.
