Advice from our agronomist
Sowing Sow seeds in late March – April indoors 0.5 cm deep at 20–25 °C. Seedlings emerge in 1–3 weeks. Plant out after the last frosts (early June) in a sunny warm spot, 50–60 cm apart.
Care Water moderately and feed every 2–3 weeks with a balanced fertiliser. Support the shoots and pinch if needed so the crop ripens before frost.
Harvest Berries ripen from August to October inside a yellowish-brown husk; pick when the husk is dry and papery and the fruit has fallen or fully coloured.
