Cauliflower Beta is a very early variety; a high-yielding variety; the head is compact and white, medium to small in size.
Cauliflower is good steamed, roasted, in soups and salads, and for freezing.

Advice from our agronomist
When to sow. Sow for seedlings in mid to late March at 1 cm depth and 18–20 °C; after emergence keep seedlings cooler (10–12 °C) and prick out at 2 true leaves.
Planting. Plant seedlings out in mid-May at the 5–6-leaf stage, 50 × 50 cm apart; water well after planting and cover if frost threatens.
Care. Water generously and evenly; when the head starts to form, shade it with folded leaves to keep it white. Protect against pests (cabbage fly, flea beetles) with fleece.
Feeding and harvest. Feed with nitrogen two weeks after planting and potassium during head formation. Cut heads when they are 10–15 cm across and firm.
