Advice from our agronomist
Sowing Sow from April to August 1 cm deep, with rows 20 cm apart, and thin to 5–10 cm. Repeat every 2–3 weeks for a continuous crop.
Care Water regularly so the leaves do not turn too sharp. It bolts quickly in heat; protect from flea beetles with fleece.
Harvest Pick young leaves 3–4 weeks after sowing, when they are 5–10 cm long; the flowers are edible too.
